We at the Elkhart Area Career Center (EACC) are proud to be a part of the larger community in Elkhart, St. Joseph, and Marshall Counties in Indiana and Cass County in Michigan and have been for about 40 years.  We reach out to 16 area high schools and offer programs for students in 11th and 12th grades by offering 25 programs--almost all include college credit opportunities (mainly articulated through Ivy Tech and Vincennes, but most recently also with IUPUI) and/or industry recognized certifications.

All of our instructors are certified teachers in Indiana and come from the business or industry and have multiple years experience in their fields as well as the necessary credentials to be highly qualified.  We take pride in offering top notch curriculum that is rigorous and relevant to the needs of our local business and industry but also the global market.  We literally have partnerships with hundreds of local business and industry leaders as well as community leaders through our advisory boards for every program, paid and unpaid internships, and other professional links and associations.

Our graduates are well educated and are taught the values and ethics needed on the job beyond the core skills.  A high percentage of our students continue on in their educational pursuits and earn certifications and degrees to help them move up in their careers.  The EACC is one of the best opportunities available for students in our region no matter what their eventual career and educational goals are.  Ask any of our students what they feel they get out of their experience here, and they will tell you that they get a rigorous and relevant education that helps them master their tomorrows.
